A Resolution Copper mine threatens to destroy Oak Flat. From the beginning of time, Apache Stronghold has grounded our resistance in the strength of religious practice and spiritual relationship with the land.

Apache Stronghold asks people of other faiths to join us in this spiritual struggle. On November 4, Apache Stronghold will amplify these intercessions into a prayer­ rising for the preservation of Oak Flat. Indigenous people will gather at Oak Flat to pray according to their ways.
People of other faiths will also gather to encounter the Holy and to confront, through prayer, the forces of destruction brought by Resolution Copper.

transportation to this sacred site, located an hour east of Phoenix, Arizona. Or, organize prayers in your own community.

Wednesday, April 26th, at 4pm in front of the White House. Would love for you and your orgs/groups to join if you’re in DC. Please feel free to invite others.

March 12 - 21, 2023
Apache Stronghold will travel to the Hearing on a Spiritual Convoy, traveling to Pasadena, California beginning Sunday March 12th. The convoy, in prayer, will visit supporting Tribes, Churches and organizations leading to the 9th circuit Appeal court en banc hearing to protect a Sacred and Holy land, Oak Flat. We invite all to join us in the journey to Pasadena to be present for our Appeal Hearing. The en banc reargument is to take place at their Pasadena courthouse. Oral argument will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 21, 2023, in Courtroom Three of the Richard H. Chambers Courthouse, located at 125 South Grand Avenue in Pasadena, California 91105.
